Long-distance bus tickets will now be available from rural areas
The ticketing services of Robi's premium e-ticketing platform bdtickets will now be available from the 'Village Digital Booth (VDB)' established by Jaytoon Business Solutions. As a result, local people will not need to go to the district or Upazila level to collect long-distance bus tickets.
Robi's flagship digital entrepreneurship platform R-Ventures' premier online ticketing platform BDtickets and Jaytoon Business Solutions Limited will work together to deliver long-distance bus ticketing services at the grassroots level.
Kazi Mahbub Hasan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of R-Ventures PLC and Akbar Hossain, Managing Director (MD) of Zaytun Business Solutions Limited, signed the agreement in a recent ceremony at the corporate headquarters of Robi Axiata's subsidiary R-Ventures. Rajeev Shetty, MD and CEO of Robi and Md. Arfan Ali, Founder and Chairman of Jaytoon Business Solutions Limited were present at this time.
Since its inception in 2022, Jaytoon Business Solutions Limited has been serving 64,000 customers by setting up more than two hundred Village Digital Booths (VDBs) in 15 districts. These VDBs are contributing to economic inclusion of the country by facilitating access to financial services at the grass root level. From now on, long-distance bus tickets will be available at these VDBs. Now the local people will not need to go to district and Upazila levels to collect bus tickets. Through this, local entrepreneurs are also getting additional income and employment opportunities.

BDtickets offers various services from bus booking to hotel booking. This platform ensures that customers can purchase tickets anytime, anywhere.
